Eric Sims

Co-Founder

Let’s start with the typical jargon here! As a native Texan I started my business life in sales and business development. My early career was a mix of corporate jobs and entrepreneurship. That assortment awarded me a wealth of experience in a variety of industries and businesses. When I moved to Tampa, Florida in 2006, I fell into this wacky BPO business. Honestly, I never thought I would stay here, but what I found out very quickly was my eclectic background, knack for creativity and ability to implement solid solutions made me a perfect fit to succeed in this space. I worked for 2 mid-size BPOs for the better part of the last decade mastering my craft and learning the industry. Having a front row seat to corporate America’s version of this business allowed me to see the contrast in it that lead us to dream up this thing called Leading Edge Connections. I’ve lead enormous national and international business efforts that involve product enhancement, customer experience enrichment, marketing, human capital development, technology integrations, corporate mergers, new business evolution, and endless revenue improvement projects.  I absolutely love change, movement, creativity and solutions! I hate people telling me things can’t be done or “that’s just the way we’ve always done it”. I personally believe that opportunities and success are limitless if you are willing to put yourself out on the leading edge of what you love and hustle your ass off. There’s no problem we can’t solve.

From the day I entered the workforce; I have been obsessed with helping people, processes and organizations reach new heights. I started off in the call center financial services industry with a large BPO as a rep and quickly rose through the ranks to become an operations executive. That gig gave me the work ethic, high sense of urgency and crazy passion for customer service, sales and client success. From there I spent the next 15 years working with 2 mid-sizes BPO’s while honing my operational skills to provide my clients with the best results. I’ve owned many initiatives that involve operational planning and execution, human capital development, customer experience development, sales channel growth, technology overhauls and process improvement.  Having a seat at the table in the corporate call center world opened my eyes to an opportunity for us to create Leading Edge Connections. Most of our industry fears change and creativity, we are obsessed with it!  We are passionate about creating the best solutions for our partners! Want to go to the Leading Edge? Kevin Dees

Having been a practicing attorney for more than a decade, I have represented a wide variety of large and small commercial enterprises and valued clients.  I perennially received industry accolades for my practice as a litigator of commercial and complex matters.  As general counsel, I bring the same experience to negotiation and partnering to our clients that comes from handling highly varied matters, regulatory issues, and deal making.  I adopt the philosophy that remaining flexible, diligent, and creative has equal application in the customer service realm.  I am a proud graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and reside with his family in Tampa, Florida.

Joe Wilcox

Business Development

Ready to grow? I plant the seed. I’ve been an all-star in business development & customer care for more than two decades. My career started out in the logistics industry serving many Fortune 500 outfits in the east coast. That opportunity provided me with the framework for customer care and the ability to scale businesses of all sizes. After many years servicing the largest players in the game, I transitioned to an exclusive liquid distributor in the manufacturing industry. While I was there I oversaw multiple customer relationships ranging from $100,000 to $5,000,000 a year. This is when I realized that relationship management and driving business growth is what gets me out of bed every day. Fact of the matter is, I thrive on seeing people and companies reach new peaks! From there, I converted my passion of helping people into a successful natural remedy business while using the client relationship and business development skills that I obtained throughout my career. I’ve assisted with multiple natural oil companies to take them to unseen heights. I’m a firm believer in the mind, body connection. My personal passions are fitness and overall health and wellbeing. As a natural thrill seeker, I enjoy ripping down the highway on my hog. As you can tell I am crazy about competition and taking my clients to the Leading Edge of their industry.
